Marquette is again partnering with the Samaritan Fund Program, which aims to provide financial relief to employees on a Marquette medical plan facing significant medical challenges or the burden of high-cost medications.
The deadline to apply is Tuesday, Sept. 30.
Eligibility for the program is not based on your income. Additionally, employees are not required to pay any fees.
The application process for the program is confidential. If approved, they will assist you in enrolling in an individual health insurance plan along with sourcing financial assistance that should eliminate out-of-pocket costs for insurance premiums and medical care.
A serious medical diagnosis brings worry and anxiety. Without the financial burden of medical bills, Marquette plan participants can find the peace of mind to heal. To learn more, watch this informational video or read more on the Marquette website.

Following is a testamony from a current Marquette employee who utilized this program:
“My situation was dire. I was financially unstable with a ton of medical issues and bills. I initially heard about this through word of mouth at work and thought it was too good to be true. What’s the catch? But now, I am less worried about my bills and finances and can work on getting healthy. This gave me peace of mind and if you are considering the program, do it. Thank you for your help, both with my medical bills and my peace of mind.”
