The Mami Collective is celebrating its first anniversary with a live podcast event and a $2,500 grant for one mom’s business on Sept. 25 in Chicago.

She has made it her mission to lift up moms across Chicago.

The Mami Collective has grown a lot in just its first year. Roe talked about what’s next for the organization.

The Mami Collective Grant is open to U.S.-based mothers who have been running a business, side hustle or project for at least 12 months, the organization said. Applications and eligibility details are available at https://themamicollective.com/grant.
